I have a bachelor's in Elementary Education with a specialization in Early Childhood Education. I currently work as a site director for a YMCA before- and after-school program. However, since it's summer, I'm working at one of their summer camp programs. This job takes up most of my day between 7am-6pm, but I am available for evening and weekend care. I've been working my current job for the last 3 years, but I've been working with kids in general at summer camps since 2017. I usually work with kiddos between the ages of 5 and 12. My responsibilities have included: supervising and entertaining 20 children for 8+ hours a day 5 days a week; strengthening relationships with the children by talking to them individually and by participating in group activities with the children; and communicating with the children's families both verbally and in writing daily.
