Experience: 10 yrs
With 10+ years of caregiving experience, I have had the privilege of caring for individuals ranging from newborns to seniors. I'm passionate about creating a safe, loving, and comfortable environment while supporting daily routines, companionship, and overall well-being. I'm CPR/First Aid certified and known for being patient, trustworthy, and dependable. I treat every person I care for like family and take pride in making a positive difference in their day-to-day life.
Hannah was one of my grandma’s caregivers for the last four years, and she is missed dearly. Over the years, we’ve experienced a revolving door of caregivers for a variety of reasons, which made us truly appreciate just how exceptional Hannah was. My grandma is actually pretty easygoing, but she needs someone who genuinely engages with her; otherwise, she becomes bored and withdrawn. In all the years Hannah cared for her, there was never a single moment when I felt unhappy, concerned, or uncertain about the quality of her care. In fact, I honestly don’t believe my grandma would be where she is today at 94 years old without Hannah’s dedication and support. We have very little family support, so Hannah became much more than a caregiver. She, along with the caregivers she brought into our lives, blended seamlessly into our world and became an extension of our family. My grandma’s care plan, meals, routines, and daily structure were all thoughtfully designed and guided by Hannah. Her level of care went far beyond simply showing up for a shift. One of the qualities I admire most about Hannah is how proactive and assertive she is. She often identified and solved potential problems before I even realized they existed. She was always thinking ahead, thoroughly considering every detail, and when she was with my grandma, she was fully present and engaged. Finding someone to replace her has been incredibly challenging. We’ve already gone through several caregivers to fill gaps Hannah filled. While interviewing and meeting with potential caregivers I would remind my grandma that people like Hannah don’t come around often and that I would do my best to find someone who shared Hannah’s qualities. Anyone fortunate enough to have Hannah as a caregiver will quickly understand what a rare gem she is. She has made an immeasurable difference in our lives, and we will always be grateful for the care, compassion, and stability she’s brought into my grandmas world.
