About Hannah

I'd describe my personality as calm, understanding, and organized. I enjoying offering a space where students can slow down and go at their own pace. I am looking to work with students in 3rd - 6th grade. I can help students complete their homework and stay organized. I am comfortable in any subject area but have worked mostly in math and reading. My first tutoring job was in high-school and I continued to nanny and tutor periodically throughout college. After graduating I became an elementary teacher. I spend much of my time going on walks, reading, and playing with my kids. One of my favorite series to read is Lord of the Rings. One thing you should know about me is that I struggled in elementary school and it was tutoring that gave me the skills and confidence to become a strong student. This has given me patience and compassion for students who feel stuck in a subject area. I tutor to give kids a chance to slow down and enjoy the process of learning.
