I have been a nanny for many years, throughout which Ive had experience with kids with special needs, and for the last two years I have been a caregiver for an adult individual with physical and developmental disabilities. I have experience with high-needs individuals that includes administering medication, feeding, assisting with daily Occupational Therapy, help bathing and going to the bathroom, communicating with behavioral specialists, managing meltdowns, and finding new methods to make the world more accessible and an individual more independent. I've been told I have a lot of patience, and I know I can keep a cool head under pressure. I love my work and the people I get to meet and help!
