The summer of 2021 I worked at an autism summer camp. I was provided with two weeks of in depth professional training in which prepared me for the two months I worked there. Each week I was given the privilege of working with another individual of ages ranging from 7-63 years old. This experience made me realize that I wanted to pursue occupational therapy which I am currently enrolled in school for. Since then I have had the privilege to also work with a wonderful young girl with cerebral palsy. With these experiences, I feel comfortable providing special needs care for non-verbal individuals and children or adults who need assistance with daily activities. My goal is to connect with those that I care for and bring as much happiness to them as they bring to me!
