I am an experienced educator and private tutor with nearly 17 years of experience supporting students in classroom, after-school, and one-on-one settings. I hold a Master of Arts in Teaching (K-12) and specialize in language arts, reading, writing, and executive functioning. For three years, I led the Language Arts tutoring program at my school while simultaneously serving as Co-Chair of the English Language Arts Department, where I supported curriculum development, student achievement, and academic growth across grade levels. My tutoring approach is structured, student-centered, and confidence-building, with an emphasis on organization, comprehension, and clear written expression. I work closely with families to create supportive, sustainable learning plans that help students build both academic skills and independence.
