About Hana

Children are as Capable as we Give them the Space to be. Aloha! I am an Art teacher on the island of Kauai. A motto that inspries my caregiving philosophy is; "Invite the child into your calm -from the moment you enter the room. The presence and the environment in which one creates; uplifts & fosters the childs growing mind & healthy spirit!" I am currently studying Education + Childhood Development at UH Manoa. I am comfortable enforcing household rules & feel that the parent's methods is my priority as the best way to give the child structure + familiarity. I enjoy creative crafts and enriching read-alouds; as I love promoting literacy & curiosity in children ealry-on. I value the importance that outdoor play and critical thinking games can have on our development. Caregivng goes beyond attention to detail; Harnessing and amplifying the unique potential a child already possesses within them is crucial to their self-confidence & growth.
