About Hanah

I've been working intermittently in childcare for 10 years, primarily with children ages 4 months- 6 years, and some with ages 10+. I have 2 years of experience working as an in-home RBT with children with autism and other NDDs, so I am comfortable meeting higher support needs. In a natural play setting, I helped my clients learn essential skills, like communicating, eating, dressing, and hygiene and safety skills. I also focused on early childhood education skills like fine motor development, writing and reading. I believe in utilizing positive reinforcement, cultivating a safe and peaceful environment, and balancing structured learning with free play, in a child-dependent way. I enjoy teaching children and affirming their developing personalities while creating a loving, professional relationship. I'm in my final semester of my Master of Public Health, interning at a retreat center for adults with mental health conditions. I love being active outdoors. I enjoy art, sewing, and music.
