I have been a LPN for 6 years, but started doing senior care in 2014. Once I became a LPN I've worked primarily in a memory care until I recently started working in hospice. I absolutely love being a hospice nurse, but dementia still has my heart as well. I am CPR certified. I like caring for seniors because I love interacting with them and building a relationship. Plus I enjoy being able to help people and seniors get overlooked sometimes. I like being able to give someone a good quality of life. I'm looking for a job that will allow me to work weekends only but be something that I can build a relationship with the client and the family. I started caring for seniors when my sister actually was doing it first and I got a job within the same company she was working for. I haven't stopped since.
