I have over 8 years of professional CNA/healthcare experience, and 16 years of experience caring for my children with special needs. I have babysat children on the autism spectrum. I previously provided care for a 30-year-old adult with cerebral palsy, assisting with daily needs and individualized support. My hospital experience also gave me extensive exposure to patients with mental health, developmental, behavioral, and cognitive needs. As a Psychiatric Technician and Emergency Department-trained Healthcare Tech, I cared for many patients with schizophrenia, developmental delays, behavioral concerns, and other psychiatric or special needs.
