I've always loved spending time with and working with children! Growing up I loved to take care of all my younger cousins and little brother. I have experience working for three years at an outdoor adventure two week sleep away camp. As a mentor and counselor, I am responsible to take care of my group, lead them through activities and be a support system for them. I lived in China for 3 months teaching English and Art at a Waldorf school. While there I lived with a host family whom I cooked most meals for and took care of their 10-year-old daughter. I also lived on a farm for a few weeks in Hawaii taking care of two adorable children (4 yrs and 2 yrs old). Throughout high school I babysat a few kids as well!
