I have experience supporting individuals with special needs, including those diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy and Autism. As a Personal Care Assistant for a young woman with Cerebral Palsy, I worked closely with her family and therapists to support her physical and developmental goals. My responsibilities included assisting with therapy-based stretches, supporting daily living tasks, and providing hands-on care, including dressing, feeding, hygiene assistance, and wheelchair transfers. I also assessed her needs through behavioral and nonverbal cues to ensure individualized care. In addition, I have supported my nephew, who was diagnosed with Autism in early childhood, by fostering communication, self-expression, social skills, and positive behavioral development through structured activities and consistent support. Above all, I'm passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of those I care for and building strong, trusting relationships with individuals and their families.
