About Hailey

I was fortunate enough to meet not only both sets of my grandparents, but both sets of great grandparents and one great great grandmother. As you can imagine, I spent a lot of time with them. While I was young I would go to my great grandparents every weekend. As I began to get older, they did as well and their health began to decline. I began to help my grandma take care of them. Eventually my grandpa was sick, and that was the roughest on us. Once he had passed, my grandma became more sick and eventually developed dementia. We had to move her into assisted living close to our home and we would go over pretty much everyday. Then covid came and it got really hard. She had no idea what was going on. I spend quite a bit of time with my paternal grandparents as I lived with them a good chunk of my life. I currently work at a retirement home where I clean up and take meals to residents. I've began to love it as I get to know them all individually and understand who they are.
