About Hadiyah

My name is Hadiyah, and I'm a Philosophy major and Human Rights Studies minor at The City College of New York. I'm passionate about reading, writing, and helping others learn. In high school, I earned several English awards and received a perfect score on my AP English exam. I have continued to excel academically and have received scholarships recognizing my writing and academic achievements. I have tutoring experience working with high school students through my aunt's school, where she serves as principal. Through reading assignments, writing prompts, and discussions, I helped students strengthen their skills and build confidence. Seeing their growth as readers and writers was incredibly rewarding. As an avid reader, I believe strong literacy skills foster creativity, critical thinking, and success across all subjects. I'm dedicated to helping students become stronger readers and writers while developing confidence in their abilities.
