As a former elementary school teacher with over 12 years of experience, I know the pressure that children feel to learn skills at a certain pace. I can help fill in your child's learning gaps and help them feel more confident and successful. I am willing to communicate with your child's teacher, as well as take your concerns into consideration, to develop academic goals. My methods are a blend of old-school and creative lessons that motivate and are tailored to your child's learning style. When I taught, I was often the teacher selected for children who needed someone softer spoken but fun. Children who needed extra support academically and emotionally, as well as those who needed a creative approach were often placed in my class.
