Hi! Like so many, I grew up around animals and have had several of my own! Collie, Westie, Shih Tzus, Short-haired domestic cats. I am a volunteer at NoCo Humane as a dog walker and enrichment provider in the Behavior and Enrichment area for 6 months, until I adopted my own dog from them two years ago. I've house-sit and dog walked for family and friends which include golden retrivers, cats, poodles, hounds, and pugs. I've adopted a senior shih tzu, so I have experience with senior dogs. I feel like I have pretty good knowledge of when a vet appointment is needed or emergent care.
