About Gwendolyn

I have been a special education teacher for many years. I have worked privately as a companion for elders for 4 years working with clients and their families. I am a caring individual who has worked with special needs for both adults and children. Over the years, I have worked for 8 clients who needed home support in the latter years of their life. My skills are strong in regards to providing support for daily living, companionship, transportation, cleaning, meals, errands and asssitance with difficult behaviors. I have come to understand the importance of standing in the posture of respect and maintaining and providing dignity to my clients as well as a sense of independence allowing for self care and ability to shine where it can. I am a kind woman and highly educated, ready to be a support to your family member or loved one.
