Hello! My name is Gus, and I am a retired senior looking to continue helping others through compassionate caregiving and companionship. I have experience supporting individuals with dementia and Alzheimer's, and I understand the importance of patience, kindness, consistency, and respect. I am bilingual in English and Spanish and enjoy building meaningful connections with the people I work with. I can provide companionship and support with daily routines, including conversation, reading, coloring, light physical activity, dressing assistance, toileting assistance, and general supervision. I am also happy to help with simple meal preparation such as making sandwiches, warming soup, or preparing basic snacks and drinks. While I do not provide bathing assistance or full cooking from scratch, I am dependable, caring, and flexible with scheduling. My goal is to help seniors feel comfortable, respected, engaged, and supported in their daily lives while giving families peace of mind.
