About Gurleen

Hi! My name is Gurleen, and I have several years of experience caring for children through both family and volunteer settings. As the oldest sibling, I’ve grown up taking care of my younger brother, sister, and baby cousins, which taught me patience, responsibility, and how to connect with kids of different ages. I’ve also volunteered at my hometown church’s Sunday school, teaching children the Punjabi language through games and creative activities. Additionally, I’ve led youth groups in community events with Feeding San Diego, strengthening my communication and organization skills. I love helping children learn, express themselves, and build confidence, whether that means reading together, helping with homework, or spending time outdoors. Families describe me as dependable, kind, and calm under pressure. I’m a college graduate preparing for a healthcare career and bring responsibility and compassion to every role.
