About Guadalupe

My teaching philosophy is deeply personal: I believe in nurturing the whole student by addressing core developmental needs like auditory processing and emotional regulation alongside academic goals. I keep students engaged by connecting challenging concepts to their personal interests, celebrating every small win, and breaking complex problems into manageable steps. I view open communication as the bridge to success; it is essential for understanding student needs, building trust, and creating a truly collaborative environment. My background in a learning center with students facing diverse learning disabilities and challenges has made me excellent at adapting and well-versed in a wide range of strategies to support every kind of student. Nothing is more rewarding than witnessing that "aha!" moment or seeing a student's confidence grow as they master new skills.
