I'm Griffin , an experienced special educator, Montessorian, and dog trainer. I have worked in schools and childcare for the past 15 years in the greater Nashville area. I teach theater arts and acrylic painting as well, and I love to incorporate art and STEM activities into my enrichment time with littles! With my collection of hand drums, ukuleles, and bird watching gear, I am passionate about fostering curiosity in kids and keeping our time screen-free! I have done ample training in being trauma-informed and up-to-date with home health having worked with handicaps, childhood cancers, and cognitive and developmental disabilities. I am a well versed and experienced driver from bus driving to car seats (and even have a few of my own), and I have trained, boarded, and walked dogs of every sort! Griffin worked with our for over three years. They have a background in Montessori education and are very skilled in working with high needs children. GK is accepting, creative, and extremely responsible. They provided childcare that was also educational and stimulating for children, always coming up with ideas for activities and “adventures” to go on together. Griffin was also very attuned to developmental phases and shifting activities to match milestones. I can’t say enough about how much we valued Griffin's support over the years. Griffin is an animal lover and great with dogs of all sizes and temperaments.
