I have 6 years experience with children; plus my extended experience comes from helping to take care younger relatives since they were babies. I had a basic course of psychology back in college plus I'm aware of development milestones on kids according to their age.
I love to be around kids and do different types of activities with them like go outside to the playground/park, go for a stroller walk or plan indoor activities like read, play with toys, listen to music, sing, color, do crafts, build legos, etc. Also I can help parents with hygiene care and early learning and I'm willing to do light housekeeping/light cooking related to the kid. 
I like to follow home's rules/instructions and to communicate/team up with parents to maintain harmony among us.
Finally I'm current on immunizations (FLU, COVID, TDAP, etc.)

We had a wonderful experience with Grettel caring for our daughter. She was attentive, nurturing, and very engaged throughout her time with our baby girl. She played with her, read books to her, carefully followed all of the notes and instructions we provided, and made us feel comfortable knowing our daughter was in great hands. Grettel did a great job taking care of my 6-month old son. She's very kind and patient. Even though my son is kind of stressed and anxious seeing strangers, Grettel still calms him down using a gentle voice. After my son get used to her, it's pretty great, Grettel has a great experience feeding baby, changing diaper carefully, playing with baby, and holding baby till him fall asleep. I will definitely choose Grettel again next time.

Grettel is amazing she’s been so professional and so caring with our son. She always helps with food and plays with him even taking him on bike rides. She’s our go to sitter I’m so glad we have been able to find her to help with our family. 

Grettel was absolutely AMAZING. We travelled for work and needed a babysitter for our 7 month old who’s newly wary of strangers. Grettel was super communicative and very punctual, and when our baby cried the first night she calmly and patiently soothed her and by the second night our baby fully trusted her and was totally happy when we left. Grettel has been our go to date night sitter for our 3 year old son. Grettel engages my son really well, reads to him a lot and exposes him to great music. She is very meticulous in following any instructions or requests I leave for her. She is extremely reliable, she hasn't canceled once in the last year that she has helped take care of our son. Grettel has looked after our now 2.5 year old son for the past year. She's caring, attentive, trustworthy, and willing to adapt to any style of parenting. We feel confident that she can handle any situation and keep our son safe while we are at work. My little guy has learnt so much under her care, from learning to eat and sit on the toilet independently, cleaning up his play area, speaking and understanding Spanish, to being polite and well behaved when outside or around other kids / people. He has also developed a keen fondness for books and music - Grettel has great taste in music and it has been so cool to watch my son appreciate a wide range from Pink Floyd, Queen and Blondie to Peppa Pig! Grettel came  to look after our 3 year old boy in less then a 24 hour notice. She was kind, warm and reliable. It is clear that she has great experience with kids and that she loves working with children. Our son is shy but Grettel made him feel very comfortable and attended to all his needs. Our son enjoyed his time with her and asked that she  will come back.

We hired Grettel for a day. She was polite and timely during the interview process. She was very energetic and engaged with my son the whole day through. My son was laughing out loud a lot while playing varies games with her. She did everything to make his day fun and we really appreciate that.

Right from the beginning, Grettel was very easy to work with.
She has a systematic way of approaching things which we liked very much. This was our first time hiring a nanny, and Grettel brought a lot of experience and was able to set up a good schedule for the baby and baby related activities. She and the baby bonded very well and that gave us a lot of peace of mind. We wanted Grettel to focus a lot on education for the baby and Grettel was able to do it very well. Often, she requested resources to enable the teaching and she provided inputs on the best kind of books to buy for learning. She is a fast learner and did her job with dedication. 

Our parents were visiting for 4-5 months and they wanted to take care of our child. Since that was long time to ask Grettel to wait, we had to let her go. Overall, it was a pleasure working with Grettel!

I was looking for a reliable person to take care of my 2 girls while I was working. A good friend recommended me Grettel. When I interviewed her I knew she was a right fit for my girls. At that time my girls were 4 and 5 years old.  Grettel had so much patience with them, she helped them to get along better and also helped to teach them basic colors, numbers and words. Besides my girls were so happy with Grettel, she made them laugh a lot.  Unfortunately Grettel and me stopped working together because she decided to move around San Jose area (I live in Los Angeles) I will recommend her 100%, she never gave any kind of problems and I liked how caring she was. Overall Grettel earned my trust that's why I could work without worries for the 2 years that she took care of my 2 girls.
