About Gretchen

Hi there! I'm a mom of two (a lively 3-year-old and a sweet 10-month-old) with a master's degree in Developmental Psychology and over a decade of experience working with children and families. I'm currently a doula and perinatal behavioral health coach, but my most important role right now is being a full-time stay-at-home mom. I'm looking to support a family who would be open to me bringing my boys along. We thrive on a rhythm of nature walks, sensory play, hands-on learning, and screen-free connection. I believe deeply in Montessori principles, homeschooling-style learning, and respectful, authoritative parenting. My background includes 4 years of daycare experience with infants through school-aged children, as well as several years working in both psychiatric and emergency hospital settings, where I led therapeutic groups and perfected a nurturing presence.
