About Grainne

I interviewed over a dozen candidates while searching for a nanny, and I knew within our very first conversation that Grainne was the person I wanted to hire. Grainne has cared for my baby nearly every day for the past three months, and has also watched my toddler on multiple occasions. She has been incredibly reliable, trustworthy, and consistent from day one. As someone who doesn't naturally love having people in my home, I cannot say enough about how comfortable Grainne has made our family feel. I work from home full time, so we spend a significant amount of time sharing the same space each day, and she has always been an absolute pleasure to have in our home. She is thoughtful, respectful, kind, confident, and exceptionally detail oriented. Without exaggeration, she is the most punctual person I have ever met. She is always on time, while also remaining understanding and flexible when my schedule sporadically shifts. She follows every instruction and parenting preference we have, and treats our home with genuine care and respect. One of the things I appreciate most is how fully present she is with my children. She is never on her phone. In fact, she leaves it on the other side of the room while she is with the kids so her attention is always where it belongs. She diligently tracks my baby's routines, keeps me updated throughout the day, and communicates proactively about anything I should know. Beyond being an exceptional caregiver, Grainne is simply a wonderful person. She is warm, personable, easy to talk to, and brings a calm, positive energy into our home every day. My children enjoy her, and she has become such a trusted and valued part of our lives. I recommend Grainne without hesitation to any family looking for dependable, attentive, and genuinely caring childcare. We have been incredibly lucky to have found her, and I know any family who hires her will feel the same!
