About Gracie

My name's Gracie, but I go by Ace. I'm a 24 y/o, artist & server - local to Des Moines! I started babysitting (on the books:) when I was 14 & since then I have become a nanny, a teacher, a counselor, a coach, & a Respite Care Provider for kids with Special Needs. All that to say - whatever the scenario it is that you need help with - i've got you! I believe kids need communication, consistency, & creativity. I prioritize healthy communication by being an active listener & encouraging kids to process their emotions before they try to communicate their feelings! Kids require consistency: both in the ways of rules that don't change, & a space they feel safe to mess up or need help. Lastly I have found throughout my experience that one thing remains true >>> creatively active kids are happy, healthy kids. So hiring me means dance parties, a fridge covered in crafts, daily nature adventures - & as little screen time as possible! I am looking for full time or part time work-Available now:)
