About Gracie

Hi families, My name is Gracie, thanks for taking a moment to get to know me! I'm a graduate student studying Marriage and Family Therapy online. With 8 years of caregiving experience, I've honed my skills. As a residential mental health counselor, I learned about verbal de-escalation and Trauma-Informed Care to support teens in an outpatient facility. Later, I taught at an outdoor school for 3-10-year-olds where we collaborated with a social-emotional curriculum. This design was intentionally inclusive of neurodivergent kids! I've also nannied off and on throughout my young adult life with all ages and many abilities. I love working with kids because their curiosity and blunt insight is so refreshing. I currently work in community mental health at an internship Tuesday-Thursdays, leaving more flexible hours for caregiving support on Monday and Friday (with some flexible weekends). I look forward to exploring if I might be a good fit for you and your family!
