I have cared for special needs my whole life. I am a Certified HHA & PCA. I grew up with 2 sisters, one was physically challenged, my other sister is mentally, special needs. I care for 2 families in Florida as well. Two sisters that are Down Syndrome and my other little lady had a birth injury, was nonverbal and pretty much total care. All of them did ambulate well. They were total care, with all ADLS, cooking housework, shopping, Medication management, etc. I am very patient, calm, a great cook, taught independent living to my 2 sisters. I am APD Certified as well.
