About Grace

Hi there. I'm a 23-year-old teacher's assistant at an elementary school seeking summer opportunities. Fostering confidence in children's emerging personalities and sense of self is my life's work. I have experience working with children of all backgrounds, and understand that each child communicates, learns, and processes the world differently, including neurodivergent kids. Parents and colleagues often describe my childcare style as patient, kind, and quick-thinking. I'm good at staying calm under pressure, adapting when things don't go as planned, and building trust with children in a way that feels uniquely supportive. Meeting children where they're at emotionally and connecting through their personal interests is primarily how I apply my skills. That often looks like engaging in crafts, outdoor activities, and even learning activities. My ultimate goal is always to make children feel truly safe, understood, and cared for while giving parents peace of mind too.
