About Grace

Hello families! My name is Grace and I am a NYS certified teacher offering part-time tutoring services. I am currently a 2nd Grade teacher in the Rochester area. I have obtained a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood and Childhood Education, and a master's degree in Special Education. I offer tutoring services in elementary-level math and ELA. Ideally, I would like to tutor remotely, or meet the student at a third-party location (such as a library or coffee shop). I am available to begin tutoring after labor day, and ideally would meet with the student 1-3 times a week for 1 hour sessions. My favorite part of teaching is connecting with my students and helping them discover a "growth mindset" when it comes to achieving their goals! I love helping my students realize that with hard-work, consistency, and a positive attitude, they can do just about anything- no matter how challenging it may seem in the moment.
