About Grace

Hello! I am a certified elementary school teacher with International Baccalaureate, ELL/ESL, and Reading Teacher endorsements. I currently tutor five children in the Charleston area and am looking to expand my tutoring business into a full-time endeavor. I recently served as the Education Coordinator for Our Lady of Mercy Community Outreach Services, where I managed the after-school program. Prior to arriving in Charleston, I served as a teacher, tutor, and nanny in vastly different communities, ranging from rural Wisconsin and suburban Washington D. C. to underserved neighborhoods in Chicago Public Schools. I am happy to create custom materials and games for your child to increase engagement and focus on positive reinforcement to achieve growth. I am very comfortable working students of all levels.
