I'm passionate about helping students unlock their unique potential and achieve their academic goals. With one year of experience, I create an engaging, supportive, and patient learning environment, focusing on building confidence and a love for learning. I actively listen to students and observe their interactions with new material, adapting my methods to suit their individual learning style. I connect challenging topics to real-world examples, celebrate small successes, and break down complex problems to maintain motivation. Communication is essential, and I prioritize building trust with students and parents. The most rewarding part is witnessing a student's "aha!" moment and seeing their confidence grow. I have a Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry and can help with Math, English, Science, Art, Dance, Business, and Study Skills at all levels from elementary school to college. I am comfortable tutoring at various locations and have a car. I am also CPR and First Aid trained.
