About Grace

I have tutored/taught violin and Spanish for family friends and neighbors for the past few years, but am looking to expand my work on it. I am great with kids and have worked at summer camps and also as a nanny for years in the past, and pride myself on my patience. I am proficient in classical violin and come from multiple generations of private violin teachers. I grew up watching lessons every day, and I myself played everyday for 10 years and reached college level material. I am comfortable working with students on the very basics to intermediate level. Though English is my first language, I picked up Spanish very well in school and excelled to AP level. I studied abroad in Mexico for 6 months and eventually became fluent in Spanish. Since I started in school, I have a great foundation in Spanish grammar and don't rely on casual lingo, which makes me an ideal tutor. I am able to help with homework lessons, working on specific vocabulary or even just practicing conversation.
