About Grace

Hi! I'm Grace. I have 5 years of experience in childcare, and I absolutely love working with kids. My favorite ages to work with are 11-14, but I've never met a kid I couldn't get along with. I'm lifeguard/CPR certified and have an older car in good condition. I can help with housekeeping and cooking, although I'm not comfortable cooking meat as I am a life-long vegetarian. I love pets of all kinds- I myself have a senior dog and a one-eyed cat. (I'm even comfortable with reptiles!) I have some experience with special needs children, as well as children experiencing emotional distress. I'm good at being a friend to a child while maintaining the line of professionalism and ensuring that we both know who is in charge. I love to play board games and I can bring my own. I also own plenty of games for children that are targeted towards learning developmental and academic skills for many ages. I can't wait to get started!
