About Gracelyn

I've spent the past three summers working as a camp counselor, caring for children of all ages, including children with special needs and adults with disabilities. I also volunteered overseas with a missions organization in childcare and ministry, specializing in caring for infants through age five. Growing up with younger siblings, I've been around children my whole life and have babysat from a young age. I love creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel cared for and encouraged. I've worked with many different cultures and people groups through international travel with my family, which has helped me become adaptable and relational. I was homeschooled in the Asheville area and involved in activities like dance and soccer. Some of my hobbies include painting, photography, skiing, snowboarding, music, guitar, singing, and piano. I'm passionate about supporting children and families in a positive and trustworthy environment.
