About Grace

Guiding and understanding the young minds of the future is my goal. I am currently a student in the Occupational Therapy Doctoral program at the Ohio State University with a wide knowledge of children and work experience. I graduated undergraduate with a major in Human Development and Family science which touched heavily on child development. I am First Aid and CPR certified due to my past experience as a life guard and time in Girl Scouts. I have experience in working with toddlers to young teens and children with disabilities from working as a camp counselor, lifeguard, babysitter, and child care specialist in the past. Depending on ages, I comfortable caring for up to three children and can assist with light housekeeping, travel, and swimming supervision. When caring for children, I try to create a safe and trusting environment, that fosters fun and imagination. I also make it a priority for them to understand the importance of boundaries, good communication, and mutual respect.
