About Grace

I have more than two decades of experience caring for my brother with cerebral palsy and epilepsy, and about 8 years of experience in various caregiving positions. I am not formally trained as a CNA but am comfortable and familiar with tube feeding, lifting manually or using lift equipment, bathing and dressing, handling medications, and managing various behaviors, seizures, suctioning, etc. I keep my CPR certification up to date and am willing to get formal CNA training if desired. My work history includes being both a paraprofessional and academic tutor for students with special needs, an in-home caregiver for medically complex and elderly clients, and a client care specialist at a day program for disabled adults. I am confidant that I can patiently and kindly meet the various needs of your child. I love my current position, but because my husband and I are expecting our first baby, I am exploring job opportunities that will hopefully allow me to bring my baby with me to work.
