I'm a nurturing career nanny who specializes in creating joy-filled, peaceful environments for infants and toddlers to explore the world. I have 10+ years of experience in childcare, including 8 years of long term nannying for three consecutive families. I emphasize good communication and teamwork with parents. I enjoy working within families' priorities to create and troubleshoot routines that help everyone thrive. I believe that children are constantly learning. I seek to foster that learning process by slowing down, narrating, and inviting participation in daily care tasks. I love to share my enjoyment of nature, art, reading and cooking with children. My husband and I welcomed our first baby in July, and I am looking for a 15-20 hour a week position with a family who would value a built-in playmate for their infant.
