About Grace

Hello! My name is Grace and I'm currently working as a behavioral interventionist in a middle school. I am a recent graduate of MSU with a degree in comparative cultures and politics with a minor in Swahili. I have cared for children for 9 years now, ranging from ages 5 months to 14 years. I am currently working as a 1:1 with a 13-year-old boy with autism, and love the job! I have extensive experience babysitting, pet sitting, and worked as a camp counselor. I love to embroider, knit and have taken a recent liking to mending. I am musically minded too! I originally attended MSU on a scholarship to play the French horn - but my interests pushed me to become a FLAS fellow to study Swahili. Being from Vermont, I love the outdoors and seek out nature every day. I'm Infant and adult CPR trained and have taken Red Cross first aid classes. References are available on request.
