About Grace

My name is Grace and I am a student at Northeastern University here in Boston! I started working with kids when I began babysitting my neighbors in eighth grade, something I continue to do whenever I am home for school breaks. I also have ample experience in more formal childcare settings through my work as a summer day camp counselor every summer throughout high school. Some of the skills I learned through these experiences include communication (clear articulation skills, active listening), patience (not one to lose my temper with children), and adaptability (have worked with children of all ages and with many different interests). When I am working with the children I babysit I love promoting creativity and engagement in fun activities without the use of a screen, such as crafts, games, and sports. I'd describe my personality as compassionate, diligent, and perceptive, and in my spare time, I like to run, read, cook, bake, and sew!
