About Grace

As a Literature student at Bard College I have worked closely with reading comprehension skills as well as the translation of this comprehension into writing; as a tutor I would be able to impart practices and techniques key to honing these skills at any level. I have worked with as an English Language Tutor, which consist of weekly meetings with peers who are using, and learning English for academic purposes. To prepare for tutoring I have undergone several training sessions with the English Language Program Coordinator, and plan to continue with this training. I began this work at the start of the 2024 academic year, and am currently still involved. Beyond this work, I have also written for Bard Colleges students run newspaper, and am preparing essays to contribute the college's translation journal. I would love to work with students studying English at any level to help further skills or meet specific goals!
