About Gloria

I have a unique background in education and expressive therapies. Throughout the years I have had the privilege of working with all ages in diverse settings such in homes, facilities, and hospitals. I am a creative spirit who is passionate about supporting older populations and their families with kindness and patience. My passion for supporting seniors began from my personal experiences of supporting my dear grandmothers in their last years. One of which had dementia. Several years later I worked as an expressive therapist in both memory care facilities and hospital settings. My job focused on engaging seniors in therapeutic activities that helped reduce anxiety and encouraged fun engagement. I am very passionate about maintaining the dignity of each senior My strengths are related to my knowledge and experience in working with seniors. However, it is important that families know I am not medically trained and not a good match for higher level of medical needs.
