As a retired LPN I have over 30 years in senior care have taught me the profound value of connection and compassion. My background as a Licensed Practising Nurse, coupled with some college, allows me to provide comprehensive support, including transportation, errands, light housekeeping, and meal preparation. I am driven by a genuine desire to enhance the well-being and independence of adults and seniors, fueled by positive experiences in previous care roles. I am patient, calm, friendly, and approachable, and I prioritize understanding each person's unique preferences and history. I adapt to changing routines, de-escalate stressful situations, and handle confusion with empathy. I communicate with families through written daily reports and verbal updates, always following their preferred method. I am CPR and First Aid trained. Ultimately, my goal is to bring comfort and joy to the lives of those I care for, and I look forward to the opportunity to do the same for your family.
