About Glenna

Hi! I'm Glenna! I'm in Colorado Springs, not Broomfield. I'm available to babysit or tutor part-time. I am staying at home, caring for my own 6 mo baby who is super chill and loves other children. I would prefer jobs that I can bring him too, as my husband is an army pilot and sometimes works irregular hours, but I could also occasionally be available to babysit without my baby. I have over 10 years experience as a middle and high school English and ESL teacher. In addition to this, I have experience caring for one hospice patient during a summer off as well as working with younger children in a variety of capacities including as a residential summer camp counselor, lifeguard, equine therapy facilitator, and private tutor. I am infant and child CPR certified. I'm preparation for my own baby, I did a LOT of research into child safety, child development, and child care and I continue to learn more every day. I am especially interested in Montessori style learning.
