About Glenda

Glenda Hello Family, my name is Glenda. I grew up in southern Minnesota on a farm, I come from a blended family of 7 children. I have been a member of several professional organizations including NAEYC and INA and was the 1993 INA Nanny of the Year. I have 38 yrs experience as a nanny, household manager, elder care, pet care and travel with families. I graduated from The College of St. Scholastica in 1986 with a BA in Social Work. I hold Certificates in Child Development covering newborn-school age and Sign Language. I'm looking for a full time nanny ROTA or nanny/household manager position, with up to 3 children. I follow gentle parenting alone with the parents philosophy as guidelines. I look forward to joining a family that values learning through reading, the arts, indoor and outdoor play, making messes and taking advantage of classes offered in the community, exploration and adventure
