I have been with my recent family for 9 years, since their oldest son was 6 months old. They have two other children, 7 and 4, who I have been with since birth. Before this family, I was a nanny in Boston for 3 families for 14 years. I drive the kids to mommy & me classes, swim, gymnastics, sports, parks, appointments, etc. At home, I clean up after the kids, do their laundry, and sort their clothes. I cook their meals, pack lunches, give them baths or showers, and assist with homework and projects. I speak fluent English and Spanish. I usually start in the morning before school, helping to get the kids breakfast and ready. I pick them up in the afternoon and stay till the early evening. I am also available to babysit on weekends, and stay later in the evening or come earlier in the morning on an as needed basis. When the children don't have school, I take them to the park and meet up with the other Nanny's to arrange picnics and playdates. Caring for children is my true passion.

With tears in my eyes, I’m writing to hopefully find another family to scoop up my amazing nanny who will be available either this Summer or starting in the Fall. If I could keep my nanny forever, I would! But I’m lucky she will be part of my family forever. Johanna has been with us for 9 years, since my oldest was just about 6 months old. Her calm, sweet, nurturing demeanor was noticeable right away. Her care of infants is exceptional - she taught me so much with each of my babies. My kids adore her, often times including her in family portraits they draw in school. She is family, and they have the utmost love and respect for her, because she does for them. She has always treated my kids as her own. Johanna drives, which was a huge bonus for me, as she took all my kids to mommy and me classes, swim, gymnastics, sports, adventures, the zoo, parks, etc. In fact, everywhere she went, I would hear from the workers at those places that I had the best nanny. I knew it already. At home, Johanna cleans up after the kids, does their laundry, and sorts through their clothes. She cooks their meals, packs their lunches (way better than me) gives them baths or showers, and has even assisted with homework and projects. She speaks fluent English and Spanish - and has taught all my children Spanish words! She is the most caring and gentle human I have ever met, and has forced me to be a better person. I have learned so much from her. With our children all in school full time now, and deciding to move to NJ, we just don’t need her exceptional services full time. I’m hoping she can find a family with younger children/babies so she can grow with you, as she did with us. This will be one of the hardest days of my adult life, saying goodbye to her! That’s how much she means to us!
