I am originally from New Orleans, where I received my BA in Early Childhood Education/Child Psychology from Tulane University. I began working in the childcare industry in 2002, as a teenager working at an ACA certified Summer Camp and a local non-profit dedicated to provide support for underserved girls in the metropolitan area. I started my professional career in 2008, teaching preschool and pre-K aged children. For the following 8 years, I focused on childcare administration in several different capacities. During the pandemic, I walked away from my role as Center Director at a "Fortune 500 Best Places to Work" and "Boston Magazine's Top 50 Employers for Women" company that provides childcare for corporate clients. Currently, I serve as the primary caregiver for a toddler.
