About Gladys

Gladys was a true blessing in our lives. Gladys started part time with my 98 year old mother helping her with some of her basic ADL's. Unfortunately, my mom had some stroke like episodes and very quickly needed full time care. My mom was experiencing hallucinations and agitation, and Gladys jumped right in to a full time position and provided such compassionate and experienced care for my mom. She was so warm and loving and treated my mom with such dignity and respect. She helped feed her, bathe her, even when my mom was put on in-home hospice, she would always be next to her helping. She would cook her favorite foods, make suggestions for her comfort and always knew how to keep her safe and happy. She arrived each day with a smile on her face and brought such joy into our home during a difficult time in our lives. She took the time to learn about our family, about my mom's favorite things, took her outside to enjoy the birds when she could. She always went above and beyond and treated us like we were her family. Gladys is a very experienced CNA and was comfortable moving mom, and had a lot of hands on experience helping people with both physical and cognitive issues. I highly recommend her. Unfortunately my mom needed around the clock care and we had to move her to a personal care home. We are so grateful for the care Gladys provided to my mom and our family.
