To Whom it May Concern: Gladiz S. had been my mother's care aide since August 2018 until February 2020 when mom passed away. In May of 2018 mom suffered a major stroke leaving her right side flaccid with speech and swallowing difficulties. Gladiz was at our house 2 to 4 times per week, working 8 to 12 hours generally per shift. She not only looked after my mom's personal care (bathing, dressing, diaper changing, feeding) but also her psycho-social care as well. She did arts and crafts with mom, read to her, sang with her, did her nails and hair, and decorated her room. Additionally, she cleaned mom's room and did light housework (sweeping, vacuuming, tidying up the kitchen) when she was napping. She always used her time very efficiently. Gladiz is caring, personable, and responsible care aide. She had truly worked miracles for my mother and our family allowing a sense of normality.
