About Gissel

To be truthful I've never done senior care but I am a substitute teacher during the school year and do great with children. Although I can say since my first nephew I was always very hands-on with him and just loved caring for him. I learned how to attend his needs, grow my patience and many more other things. I did live in the same household, had 1 more niece and 1 more nephew 3 years later , and helped my sister tremendously, I know this has nothing to do with senior care, but in my eyes it is somewhat similar because you have to also be fragile when doing this type of job. You always have to be hands on and alert to the persons needs because anything can occur and make sure they are well attended and cared for at all times. Another slight experience that I had that has to do with care is when my boyfriend had an appendectomy done and I had to care for him for about two weeks cleaning, showering , changing, feeding, and helping him in and out of bed.
