About Giselle

I'm the oldest child of a large family and have been babysitting my entire life. I worked regular babysitting jobs throughout high school and continue to be the defacto babysitter for all my cousin's kids. I am an outgoing and energetic sitter. In college, I interned in D. C. public school after care programs and the Education Department at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History. Both jobs helped me to hone my teaching and tutoring skills. I am also a former volunteer at my hometown public library where I ran the elementary school summer reading program for 3 years. I love cooking and baking with kids (with parental approval!). I also specialize in inventing new games and activities for when kids need inspiration. With all my skills and experience, I believe I can provide a safe, fun and enriching environment for your child.
